Man going back writing in role.
If only I had listened to the ones before about California then it wouldn’t have took two kids dead and one wife dead for me to realise that I had made a mistake and that it was my fault I’m alone now. We were a-campin’ by a ditch with fifty other families and a man came and saw we had no food and offered me a job. I had to take it even if it was for twenty cents an hour because we were hungry. But I still couldn’t provide for them and those little fellas laying in the tent with their bellies puffed out and just skin on their bones. And they shivered and whined like pups. And the coroner told me “Them children died of heart failure”, so if I met anyone who will repeat what I did and risk their family’s lives then I will warn them and try my hardest to convince them not to go. For now I’m confused of why I chose to return to nothing and just starve the rest of my days till I see them again and apologise for my grave mistake. This is a writing in role of my character "man going back" before he appears in the play.

This is a really strong monologue, Phill, showing a sound understanding of your character at this point in the rehearsal process. Upload the video of this from the Revolution Arts blogspot to show you performing this in character.
